Professor Keith Jackson 凯斯·杰克逊教授

Keith Jackson (MA, MBA, BA, RSA Dip, CIPD) is Book Reviews Editor for the Journal of China in Comparative Perspective (JCCP). He is Professor, Sustainable Human Resource Management, Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan. He holds a PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, where he teaches international and public sector management, and carrys out research work for Centre for Financial & Management Studies. He is a senior partner of the Institute for Applied Trust Research ( and, apart from his teaching and research, works as a consultant in international human resource management, talent management and cross-cultural business communications in China, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, and the UK. He is currently (2012-14) advising universities and corporations in Japan about the internationalisation of their management education programmes.

Keith is an honorary visiting research fellow at the Cass Business School, London, and founding co-editor and author of the Routledge 'Working in Asia’ series. In addition to his work for CCPN, Keith works as a reviews editor for the journal Asia Pacific Business Review (APBR) and the South Asian Journal of Global Business Research (SAJGBR). He also reviews for journals such as Human Resource Management and Personnel Review. His recent publications include: (2012) Management systems and styles in East Asia, in Warner (ed.) Managing Across Diverse Cultures in Asia: Issues and Challenges in a Changing World; (2011) Human Resource Management: The Key Concepts (with C. Rowley); and (2009) Innovation in Japan: Emerging Patterns, Enduring Myths (with P. Debroux). A forthcoming publication is Managing Across Cultures: A Critical Approach (with W. Harry) for Oxford University Press.
